What a beautiful scenery that fourth morning. The entire area is totally white.
We had about one inch of snow and everything melted with the first sunrays.
This was the longest day. We had to reach the ranch by the end on the day. We
had to push this herd from more than 12 miles and we had to keep it grouped
when crossing wide areas with no route, no track, just head to that big mountain
over there, that's where we go! Thanks to the dogs, which were making an incredible
job everything went fine and it was really fun even by that cold weather. This
is our last drive. Once the cows and calves will be gathered at the ranch, our
job is done. Many other things need to be done, but that is another story. After
this long day we finally rested at the ranch, we as usual made honor to the
dinner and really cut into the super meatloaf that had been specially prepared
for us. That night was a dreamless night because we were so sore from these
12 miles ride.
