1st Day on the horse 
First day, first contact
with the horses. After a brief introduction and directions, hop, do it yourself
and have fun. The first couple of minutes are close to apprehension then the
old memory comes back and we start to enjoy our ride… till the next morning
when our butt started to be sore! This first day has been really nice, a long
10 mile ride and a very nice weather made us enjoy the scenery and wildness
of this place. The dogs are doing an incredible job! They listen to their cowboys,
they understand what to do and what they are told to do. They even have fun
and are sometime a little to volunteer… The most frequent sentence is :
"STAY BACK!!! Dam it". As I said, the weather was really nice and
we even got some sun burn. Better get them now, because it will not be like
that all week… At lunch we have been joined by one of the cowboy's daughter…
When we say that some know to ride before they know how to walk! We could say
that about her. Her saddle was just small enough to fit her! And here she goes
chasing calves that try to run away.
