We camped outside as we wanted some adventure. That is anyway what we wanted. The group was not really cooperative and they wanted to go back each night to the ranch. Anyway due to some extreme weather conditions, we did not disapprove with their opinion every day. Anyway, we woke up the third day and everything was frozen! It was beautiful, but the temperature had dropped dramatically in one day. And if it was only the temperature that would be ok, but on top of that it started to rain. We had to ride for 5 hours under the freezing rain. What an adventure! And we paid for that! We really suffered and some of the group even quit during the day. So some cowboys and some of us continued with our hands and feet completely numb even the horses were shivering. That was the toughest day! That's in that kind of situation that you realize that being a cowboy is nice but having to do that in that condition all the time is really tough. We had a lot of fun to come back to the ranch. The road was so muddy that we really appreciated the talent of our driver. It is really worse that driving on the snow with slick tires! That also where you really fully use your 4 wheels drive vehicle. Anyway, the reward of the dinner has been greatly appreciated. By the time we finished dinner, it was snowing. Yes, you read correctly, snowing! I don't know why, but we preferred to sleep into our room rather than outside this night.
