Second day. We meet
the herd where we left it the day before. The weather is still nice, just a
little bit cloudy. It has been fun because a week before this trip we were checking
the weather forecast and it would change prognostics every day. Anyway, the
second day was really pleasant and we kept with a good pace. This poor little
calves started to be tired. They all group at the end of the cortege and it
is crazy the noise that these little things can make. You are in the middle
of nowhere in a beautiful environment and you have 652 cows that constantly
talk to each other
imagine! So the goal of today was to make these little
calves and cows go forward. Pushing them and trying to make them stay in the
herd, keep their mind in the herd, avoid separating one of them and making him
think than he can escape and go back to the starting point. What a day! Everything
would hurt and some of us would rather walk along the man's best friend than
riding it. A break would sometimes be necessary. Anyway, we arrived at the ranch
and after a good shower and some rest, we made honor to the dinner! What a cook,
such a great typical food and nice ambiance.
