Cattle Drive in Montana

Here is our last trip… Cattle drive in Montana!!!
This is the extra-ordinary story of the true City Slickers like in the movie. Working in Manhattan and going on vacation in a Working Ranch to bring 700 cows and calves from point A to point B. Is this really a vacation, I don't know, but at least it is mostly fun and it is definitely change from the day to day business.

So here we are searching the internet for ranches that would accept tourists who wish to come along and tolerate them for a week (even if we slow them down and bother them in their work). We looked and looked and had a hard time finding some place that would not be a Dude Ranch with Jacuzzi, massages, and all the 4 stars stuff. We finally came up with the Schively Ranch in Montana that seemed to be pretty nice. We booked our trip and started to stress: will we be able to ride the horse for a week? Will we be able to handle these cows, what do we have to take with us?
